Show your support for our Victorian emergency services workers

Victoria’s emergency services personnel, paid and volunteer,  make an enormous contribution to our community.

Ground breaking research undertaken by Beyond Blue has shown that people in the emergency services sector had substantially higher rates of psychological distress and probable PTSD compared to the Australian population and workers in other industries, including the Australian Defence Force.

We know our emergency service workers see and do things that are often hard to cope with emotionally.

Our community relies on its emergency services in the hard times and we must support them to manage their own hard times, because of the difficult work they do every day every shift.

Funds raised will support ESF to develop new mental health and wellbeing programs to address the many challenges faced by emergency service people including a need to reduce the stigma of talking about mental health challenges because we know the best hope of recovery is to seek help early.

We are asking Victorians to show their thanks by making a donation to help those who help us.

Please show your support by making a secure online donation today using the form.

I have read and understood these Terms and Conditions in their entirety and agree to be bound by them.
Victoria's first responders, handle around 7000 calls from the 000 emergency line every day.
Our 100,000 responders see and handle situations that are often very hard to cope with and can have a heavy personal physical and mental toll.
With your help we are creating programs that protect them from the effects of what they do, to protect and support us.
